Ontario Inter-City & Intra-City Transit (Train, Bus, Light Rail, Airplane) Travel & Commuting Advice Consulting Session

$100.00

You may like the idea of exploring the province of Ontario, Canada without worrying about finding parking and gas stations, or ditching your car and commuting to work or to visit friends in other cities by train or bus, but if you haven’t used transit before it can be overwhelming to navigate the differing faring systems, fare cards, route numbers and names, and making sure you’re going to the right station or stop, and going in the right direction.

Once you get the hang of it though, traveling or commuting within Ontario cities and between destinations in Ontario, is quite enjoyable and often comfortable because there are many options that allow you to focus on sight-seeing out the window, talking to your fellow travelers, catching up on work or emails, or reading a book instead of operating a vehicle yourself.

Jonathan has an immense amount of experience using the public transit systems in Ontario of various modes: trains, buses, light rail, and airplanes. He has rode the entire route of every bus and light rail route in Waterloo Region, all the subway, light rail, and streetcar routes in Toronto, has taken many GO (Government of Ontario) train lines and bus routes around the “GTHA” and beyond and volunteered for the oversight committee of GO called Metrolinx from 2018-2020. He’s also taken other lesser known transit services such as VIA Rail, Flixbus/Greyhound/Trailways, ONEXBUS, Ontario Northland, and knows about others such as Megabus, Perth County Connect, and GOST (Guelph Owen Sound Transit).

In terms of air travel, he has flown to and from 4 airports in Ontario: Pearson International in Toronto/Mississauga/Brampton (YYZ), Billy Bishop in Downtown Toronto (YTZ), Region of Waterloo International (YKF), and Sault Ste. Marie (YAM).

Book a 1-hour video call session with Jonathan to consult his knowledge and experience on the transit systems in Ontario to experiment with or build on your experience of traveling or commuting by non-car transportation methods! After the session he will provide you with a PDF outlining his recommendations based on your interests, needs, schedules, and budget.
